A small studio with a long memory.

Xerx is an independent web, SEO and AI studio in Innsbruck, Austria, run by Yurii. Independent since 2015, in Tyrol since 2022. I design and build websites, web apps and e-commerce, run SEO for small and mid-sized companies across the DACH region, and build my own products on the side.

The story · from 2015 to Innsbruck

I started this in 2015. The studio came later.

2015
Freelance from day one.
I began taking on web projects on my own in 2015 in Zaporizhzhia, Ukraine, mostly WordPress, later headless and Next.js. Most of those clients stayed for years. That is still the measure I care about.
2022
Innsbruck.
I moved to Austria in 2022 and registered the studio in Tyrol. New country, new language, same work. The first local clients came through word of mouth and the Innsbruck business community, and most of them are still around.
Now
A studio, deliberately small.
Today Xerx is one person with a lot of leverage: client websites and SEO for companies in Austria, Germany and Switzerland, and my own products, Structura, Pulse and Reach, which I build between client projects and use on every engagement. Everywhere else on this site I say "we". Here, for once, I don't.

Most of my work continues for years after launch. That is the whole point.

Also on the bench: AI tools that write first drafts of code, copy and layouts. Every line is reviewed and shipped by the same person you talk to. That is how a one-person studio delivers like a team, and why the hourly rate starts at €90.

How I work · four principles

Four things I believe.

Outcomes over outputs.
Shipping isn't the goal. The thing I ship has to do something — sell, recruit, retain, explain. Every project starts with the outcome and works backward from there.
Slow ideas, fast cycles.
I think carefully about what to make, then make it in short cycles so you see the work sooner and I can correct earlier. Surprises late in a project are the most expensive kind of surprise.
Maintainable by design.
If a website needs an annual rewrite, it was built wrong. Most of my work continues for years; I design and engineer for that horizon, not the launch alone.
Quiet by default.
I don't believe in motion for motion's sake, gradients for gradients' sake, or features for features' sake. Every choice has to earn its place. The rest gets cut.
