UX Design Agency & Design Systems

Design that survives the roadmap.

Brand systems, product UI, and design tokens that hold up as the product grows. As a UX design agency, we design like engineers and engineer like designers — the design system isn't a sticker book, it's the source code for how the product looks.

What we make

Systems, not screens.

  • / 01

    Brand identity

Wordmark, palette, type system, and tone — built to scale across surfaces, not just to fit on a one-pager.

  • / 02

    Design systems

Tokens, components, accessibility primitives. Designed in Figma, mirrored in code, governed as the team grows.

  • / 03

    Product UI

Application surfaces — dashboards, settings, complex forms, data-dense views. Product design and UI/UX done with the engineer in the room.

  • / 04

    Marketing layouts

Home, features, pricing, blog. Editorial-grade typography and motion that makes the product feel considered.

Tools we reach for

  • Figma
  • Tailwind tokens
  • Phosphor / Lucide
  • Framer Motion
  • shadcn/ui
  • Inter / Instrument Serif

How we work

  1. Listen

Audit the product, the brand, the audience. Often we start by making a problem visible, not by drawing.

  2. Frame

Tokens before components, components before screens. The hierarchy matters because it's how the system holds together.

  3. Make

Design in Figma, mirror in code, document as we go. Engineers ship designs they can read, not interpret.

  4. Sustain

Design systems decay without stewardship. We stay close so the system stays alive.

Selected work

BEFORE
Reini Happ und Freunde — the rebuilt branded donation site
AFTER

Problem

A charity website built like an afterthought — a default theme, broken assets, and donations gated behind a 22-character IBAN typed into a banking app.

Approach

A new brand and a focused rebuild: one-tap Stripe and PayPal giving, and a custom post type that totals the team's accomplishments automatically.

Outcome

A donation page that finally matches the team behind it — giving in a tap, totals that tally themselves.

Formula Foundry — marketing site, add-ons, and customer portal
AFTER

Problem

A spreadsheet-power-tools startup needed an entire product to feel like one product on day one — two add-ons, a customer portal, and a marketing site — before a single testimonial existed.

Approach

One brand and one design system across every surface: the Google Sheets add-on, the Excel add-in, the app portal, the marketing site, and seat-based billing — designed and built end-to-end, to a single launch date.

Outcome

Coherent enough that data and finance teams trusted it from launch, and the organic footprint compounded as the content and comparison pages landed.

Structura — marketing site with the in-admin product UI
AFTER

Problem

Our own product needed a face — a marketing site, an app portal, and a docs site that all read as one system, plus a product UI living inside WordPress admin, where design usually goes to die.

Approach

A single design system spanning the marketing site, the in-admin product UI, and the docs: tokens and components shared, so the dashboard feels designed, not bolted on.

Outcome

A product surface visitors can navigate, and a wp-admin experience that doesn't look like wp-admin.

Design systems

Design systems, not sticker sheets.

The system isn't a library of screens — it's the source code for how a product looks. Tokens, type, components, and spacing that hold up as the team grows.

Capabilities

UX and UI are different jobs.

We do both — because a beautiful interface over a broken flow still fails, and a flawless flow that looks unconsidered never earns trust.

UX — Experience

Can people get things done?

Structure and flow: the part users feel but never see.

UI — Interface

Does it feel considered?

Surface and craft: the part that makes a product feel built with care.

FAQ

Questions we get a lot.

What's the difference between UX and UI design?
UX is how it works — flows, structure, whether people can actually get things done. UI is how it looks and feels — type, colour, components, motion. A good UX design agency does both, because a beautiful interface over a broken flow still fails.
Do I need a design system?
If your product is growing or more than one person touches the UI, almost certainly. A design system keeps things consistent and fast to build as you scale — tokens and components instead of redrawing screens. For a one-off landing page it's overkill, and we'll say so.
How much does product design cost?
It depends on scope — a focused product UI is different from a full brand system plus a design system. Tell us where you are and what's blocking you, and we'll scope something honest rather than quote blind.
Can you work with our existing brand?
Yes — plenty of our work is product design and UI/UX inside an established brand, not a rebrand. We extend what you have into a system that holds up as the product grows.
How do you hand designs off to developers?
We design like engineers — tokens in Figma mirrored in code, documented as we go — so developers ship designs they can read, not reverse-engineer. Often the engineer is in the room from the start.
